Vaporizing Herbs
 |
So, why should you vaporize herbs rather than an alternative method such as
smoking? The answer should strike you as being very simple. Unless, you
don't understand what vaporizing is. In that case let us try to explain a
little bit about vaporization from what we have learned along the way.
Vaporization in a nutshell applies heat to something (solid, liquid, etc).
At some point (a certain temperature) the material the heat is being applied to
will begin to vaporize, or release parts of the material as vapor. In the
case of herbs, heating them to a certain temperature allows certain essentials
from the herbs to be released, along with water, as vapor. Heating
past this point can and will result in smoke...that is, if you heat it too much
or for too long, smoke may result. For people who are new to vaporization,
they may feel like they are not inhaling anything, and that is really the beauty
of vaporization. There is usually no sign, other than the vapor that you will
exhale, that you are inhaling anything.
Also, it would seem (and I am no doctor) that vaporizing and hence inhaling
the essetial parts of herbs is a faster way for your body to gain access to
them. Rather than ingesting a pill for example which must first be broken down
in the stomach and then absorbed in either the kidneys or through the walls of
the intestines. Vaporizing herbs is very exhilarating and has allowed many
people to relax and enjoy themselves. So, what are you waiting for?
